Artist — Wilsonville, Oregon
My active interest in art is relatively recent. After a long career in food marketing and public relations, I retired to an active life of travel, golf and volunteering. During a trip to Hawaii in 2017, I took a watercolor class at our resort and was immediately hooked. Since that first painting, I have taken many classes on-line and in our community. Claude Monet said, “The richness I achieve comes from nature, the source of my inspiration,”and like Monet, I take much of my inspiration from nature. Flowers, forests, sunsets and seascapes, animals and yes, the occasional rusty truck and boat and old bottle, feed my addiction to fill the page or canvas with color. Enjoy my art with the knowledge that it was created with joy and passion.
