The Jazztet featuring Susan LeMaster is a collaboration of jazz musicians led by Susan LeMaster (vocalist) and Chris Scherer (guitarist). We perform in combos ranging from duet to septet featuring vocals, guitar, keyboard, vibraphone, electronic wind instrument (EWI), bass, and drums. We champion collaboration and welcome input from all members. Our repertoire includes jazz American Songbook standards mixed with modern sounds and jazzified pop tunes. We seek to make beautiful, fun, swinging, improvisational and funky music that exemplifies the tradition of jazz from the 30’s until today.
