I think of my artworks as evolving processes drawing from various sources. Since I was young I’ve always had an interest in arts and my first real influence came from seeing the paintings of Van Gogh at Portland Art Museum (mid 50s). Impressionism was a strong influence as were the works of the abstract expression artists.
