Photography Artist –Lake Oswego, Oregon
A self described “naive” who prefers it that way. Being self taught I pull from my years of being a colorist/hairdresser. My eye sees texture, movement, color and most importantly emotion. Through all my manual manipulations the story comes alive every day. Through the art of conversation I then find the emotions of the story. Through these intimacies stories are told. I’ve taken portions of my paintings I’ve done on canvas and have photographed sections that interest me. My paintings are typically very built up with layers so the images photograph interestingly.
