Project Description
Steve Carboni
Artist — Hillsboro, Oregon
I have been painting for as long as I can remember. My work takes on one of the following forms: abstract, cubism, impressionism, representational or a combination of these styles. I paint with both watercolors and acrylics and at times combine them in a single painting.
My subjects range from seascapes, landscapes, people, plants, music, imaginative views of reality and wildlife.
Over the last 4 years I have shown my work in both juried and non-juried shows through the Oregon Society of Artists, Art Splash, Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts, the Oregon City Festival of the Arts, The Fall Watercolor Society of Oregon’s experimental art show, the Southminster Presbyterian “Celebration of Creativity, Charbonneau Festival of the Arts” and the Beaverton Arts Mix.
As a member of Watercolor Society of Artists’ critique group I have exhibited my work at both the Brookwood Library in Hillsboro and the Beaverton Main Library
I have been a member of the Oregon Society of Artists and the Watercolor Society of Oregon.
Shows
The last show I participated in was the Oregon City Festival of the Arts in August of 2021.
